Here’s my first guess-the-move game in my recently announced King’s Indian project. I played it with a time control of 90 minutes for all moves plus 30 seconds increment, but unfortunately had to pause partway through and finish later. I made plenty of mistakes, but not Polgar’s decisive mistake! The only moves given as variations are the incorrect moves I chose; if there’s no variation on a given move then I guessed correctly. The annotations are my thoughts written live as I was playing.
Think it’s very brave to publish your thoughts! Anyway, after going through the Shirov-Polgar game I had a dig around and found this:

I think it’s highly unlikely that *he* wants to put the other knight on f6, leaving *his* knight on e8…
I didn’t know Polgar was the black player until afterwards, as I’d had a friend edit the pgn to remove any information which might affect my thinking (names and ratings of players, result etc.).
11…Kh8 12.Rc1 Ng8 – possibly so Black can trade off his bad dark-squared bishop intending …Bh6 before f3 f4 happens, which Shirov circumvents with 13.f4 maybe? Obviously after 13.f4 and the centre opening up the bishop is no longer ‘bad’! I don’t know, just trying to figure out the …Kh8; …Ng8 idea.
